The Forehead Lift to Correct Forehead Sagging

The forehead lift corrects forehead sagging. This imperfection, accentuated with age, causes eyebrow drooping and their descent over the eyes, as well as the appearance of horizontal forehead wrinkles and the frown line (wrinkle between the eyebrows).

This lift can be performed endoscopically, where it corrects only forehead wrinkles and possibly eyebrow drooping. It can also involve a large incision across the scalp (coronal incision), which re-tightens forehead skin, corrects its wrinkled appearance and significantly lifts drooping eyebrows.

Currently, this type of lift has been practically abandoned, as the same effect can be obtained through Botox injections in the surgeon's office. This is a temporary solution, as the action of Botox is limited in time, but it avoids a surgical procedure with significant scarring.
