Cosmetic Surgery > Face > Volume
Our face is composed of folds and prominent elements, which are responsible for our youthful, aged, rested or tired appearance.
The deep folds of our face significantly age its appearance. The deeper these folds, the more aged our face appears.
It is especially the nasolabial folds, which do not exist in children, that progressively deepen with age.
On the same principle, facial protuberances lose their volume:
To reduce the depth of folds and restore volume to various facial protuberances, different filling products (volumisers) are used, such as hyaluronic acid or autologous fat (lipofilling), with the immediate effect of notable facial rejuvenation.
Volumisers allow the restoration of facial proportions by filling missing volumes, resulting in a more contoured, younger-looking and more harmonious face.
Unfortunately, volume augmentation alone is not sufficient to re-tighten sagging, excess and wrinkled skin. Excessive use of volumisers alone can lead to caricatural and disproportionate results ("trout pout"...). In this case, Dr Weiss will advise you, in order to achieve the most natural result possible, by proposing various facelifts in combination, combined lifts that will associate: volume augmentation of facial zones with deep fat reshaping and skin re-tightening.
