Lip Augmentation with Hyaluronic Acid Injection
Dr Weiss exclusively uses Hyaluronic Acid from the JUVEDERM range, a genetically engineered, absolutely pure product; this injection is performed in the surgeon's medical office.
The injected product contains an anaesthetic that reduces sensitivity and discomfort during the injection.
Dr Weiss performs multiple injections to achieve optimal symmetry and the most natural results possible, visible immediately after injection.
The injection is performed with micro-needles or micro-cannulas (to reduce the possibility of bruising). Dr Weiss avoids over-correction at all costs to achieve a natural result. In principle, no socio-professional downtime is required after the injection.
Results are visible immediately after injection, but are not definitive as shape and volume will vary and evolve over the 2 weeks following injection, due to oedema, minor vascular extravasation, and the hydrophilic properties of Hyaluronic Acid.
Hyaluronic Acid is a resorbable product, and Dr Weiss recommends a maximum of one injection per year.
