The cervical facelift, neck lift or neck lifting: this type of facelift targets only the neck. It consists of re-tightening sagging neck skin.
The cervical facelift, performed by a specialist cosmetic surgeon, is a safe surgery that produces natural results. The specialist facelift surgeon works meticulously on neck skin re-tension. Dr Weiss, specialist in facial cosmetic surgery in Paris (Hauts-de-Seine), invites you to discover the answers to the main questions about the cervical facelift.
A sagging neck creates a real aesthetic disharmony with the rest of the body and with your own body image.
It is the neck that betrays your real age most significantly, because despite a face that may remain relatively young and a correct figure, an exposed neckline does not forgive.
If you can no longer dress with an open neckline, a cervical facelift is a solution for you.
The cervical facelift is the answer to your problems. It is a well-codified procedure requiring only day-case hospitalisation: you leave the same day.
The cervical facelift is most frequently combined with a facial facelift, becoming the king of facelifts: the cervico-facial facelift, the face and neck lift.
It involves an incision from the lower parts of the ears to the hairline behind the ears.
The neck skin is undermined on the deep plane, then re-tightened. After removal of excess skin, sutures are placed.
Important:
Dr Weiss personally operates both sides using proven surgical techniques.
The effects of the cervical facelift are spectacular, resulting in re-tightening and rejuvenation of your neck.
Surgical facelifts, unlike aesthetic medicine procedures, are stable. If the face is rejuvenated by an average of 10 years, this rejuvenation remains for life.
It is important to understand that the surgeon cannot stop ageing, but the rejuvenation effect persists. We always continue to age - that is inevitable - but this time, starting from the moment of the return to the past permitted by the facelift.

A successful procedure begins in the consultation room with mutual trust and a deep understanding of the surgical approach.
Cosmetic surgery is not only the art of operating, but also the art of listening and analysing wishes, to meet patient expectations and achieve an optimal, harmonious and natural result. In two words: "Bespoke."
It is necessary for the surgeon to understand the request and thus enable a balance between the body and its perception. It is essential to guide or sometimes even refuse the operation when the request seems unreasonable or the procedure risks not delivering the expected result.
Dr Weiss will answer all questions precisely (stay, procedure, anaesthesia, risks, post-operative care, quote...).
Dr Weiss will perform a thorough anatomical examination. He will take into account your medical history and current condition. He will verify the feasibility of your request and, thanks to his artistic expertise, guide you in your thinking about achievable results.
There are few contraindications to cosmetic surgery. Apart from poor general health or blood-related problems such as anaemia or incorrect haemostasis (increased bleeding), there are rare contraindications that will be explained by your surgeon if necessary.
As with any surgical procedure, it is advisable to reduce smoking, ideally stopping completely one month before and one month after the procedure. Smoking reduces healing speed and can increase the risk of infection and necrosis of operated areas. Aspirin and NSAIDs (anti-inflammatory drugs) are prohibited during the two weeks preceding the procedure as these medications cause increased bleeding.
